Below is the day by day and itinerary for the Wine and Cheese Baja Tour.
Day 1:

Meet the Next Level Baja team on the U.S. side of the border in the small town Tecate. The Next Level Baja Leader will introduce you to the team, the other guests on tour, and start the daily driver’s meeting. Next Level Team members will distribute radios, complete the vehicle inspection, and guide you into the sleepy town of Tecate. To begin our adventure, we will head towards one of the most well-preserved petroglyphs, located in Northern Baja. Scientists believe these petroglyphs date back 7,500 years ago. We will enjoy tacos before we head east where the Compadre Trail’s high reaching pine forest awaits. Then we will traverse through the Sierra Juarez mountain range ending the day in cozy secluded cabins in the woods. We will enjoy a hot meal and jalapeño infused margarita while lounging by the campfire, compliments of the Next Level Baja team.

Day 2:

Wake up to a light breakfast, fresh hot coffee and an optional meditation session beneath the trees. Next Level Baja Leader will meet with drivers and inspect vehicles, as needed. Day two off-roading begins through the gorgeous mountain terrain. Next stop, lunch at a delicious taco shop with handmade tortillas.  Then, we rejuvenate ourselves from the dusty ride by taking a refreshing dip in a hidden hot springs pool. After relaxing in the pool, we will head to the majestic ranch in the hills for cheese and wine tasting! Tour the farm and discover how cheese is made. End the day sipping on wine and feasting on local cuisine made of high-quality ingredients prepared right here on the ranch

Day 3:

Enjoy homemade breakfast burritos and fresh hot coffee to energize your day.  Next Level Baja’s Leader briefs the drivers and inspects vehicles as needed. Day three off-road adventure begins by meeting a local gold miner who will share history and geology of the land. Embark on a private land down a 4×4 trail through Baja’s backcountry.  The Next Level Team will serve you lunch at a historical stop with breathtaking views before taking you safely back to the Tecate border.
